Checking out Makita’s line of miter saws was a no brainer for me because I already have a number of their power tools in my shop and they have always outperformed many other brands that I have tried. Based on everything I’ve seen so far, the Makita LS0714 really lives up to the Makita name and reputation for excellence.

Any Problems or Complaints?
The reviews that I found for this model were very positive for the most part, although a small number of owners felt that Makita should have included two clamps for each side of the blade rather than one.
